EXPLORE THE TOWN AND HISTORICAL CASTLE OF ZAKYNTHOS (E-BIKES)

What does it take to get a good taste of the town of Zakynthos? Well, an e-bike, a knowledgeable tour guide and good vibes! Enjoy a leisurely tour around small neighbourhoods, visit historical landmarks and acquire interesting information with the help of locals.

The excursion is aimed at groups of up to 8 people (private tours can also be accommodated), covers a distance of 12 km -2 of which are ridden uphill- and includes 4 stops; the longest in the area of Bochalis, where riders may grab a drink or a snack at a local café, upon request.

The cycling adventure reaches its peak at Bochalis, featuring stunning views from the Hill and the Venetian Fortress.

Colourful little houses, historical monuments, buildings of unique architecture are unfolded throughout the cycling tour.

Stranis Hill is one of the key stops along the way. While taking in peace and a scenic spectacle, riders get an insight into what inspired the acknowledged poet Dionysios Solomos to visualize the National Anthem of Greece, written at the exact point.

The qualified guide, Vassilis, an Italian teacher, generously shares gripping information about all points of interest in Greek, English, or Italian. At the same time, he can answer any questions about proper use of e-bikes.

The tour lasts approximately 3 hours and involves cycling of around 70-80 minutes.

The price is 65 euros per person, including the provision of a bottle of water and a traditional treat, pasteli.

The electric bikes provided are ideal for cycling around the town, as their riding position facilitates sight and urban commuting. They are sophisticated wheels, well-equipped, boasting a mobile phone holder and a case, where small items can be kept. They can accommodate riders 155 cm to 190 cm tall. Should taller riders be interested in joining in, our team can supply them with a suitable bike. For children, a child seat is supplied. It can accommodate children weighing up to 20 km.
